Secretary

Meghan Miller, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC

Meghan’s path to midwifery started when she was a labor and delivery nurse in Washington, DC. While working as a nurse in both DC and Philadelphia, Meghan realized that although she loved supporting mothers during their short labor and birth experience, she wanted to do more. Meghan’s desire to form long lasting relationships with women instead of just working with them for the short time they are in labor led her to pursue her degree in midwifery. Meghan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Nurse Midwifery and Women's Health program in 2015. Since that time, she has been working at Dedicated to Women OBGYN in their Dover and Middletown locations providing full scope midwifery care. Her passion for educating women and empowering them to be active participants in their healthcare is what inspires her. Meghan lives in Middletown with her husband and daughter.

As the secretary of the Delaware Affiliate of the ACNM Meghan hopes to continue to establish a strong midwifery presence in the state that she now calls her home. In addition, one of her goals is to foster the supportive relationship between the midwives across the state.
